Process
Every garden I design is completely bespoke, shaped by your unique needs and aspirations. I believe in a collaborative approach, where we work together to create a garden that reflects your vision while benefitting from my expertise. Whether it's a compact city space or a large country garden, the process is flexible and tailored to you, ensuring you have full agency over the design of your outdoor sanctuary.

The Discovery Session
Getting to know you…
Once you get in touch, I’ll ask you to send a couple of photos of your garden. I’ll then visit your home so we can troubleshoot any issues and explore creative solutions. This might mean refining the layout to make the most of the space, using design tricks to make it feel bigger, or giving planting advice to help you avoid costly mistakes — always the right plant in the right place.
This can be a one-off session to give you the tools and confidence to take your garden forward yourself.
If you’d like to take things further, I’ll ask you to complete a Client Questionnaire to capture your ideas, wish list, and budget. We’ll then arrange a follow-up visit (free of charge) to walk through your garden in more detail and discuss your vision. From there, I’ll prepare a detailed Estimate and Client Brief for you to approve before any design work begins.
Discovery Sessions are £150 for the first hour and £80 for each subsequent hour.
Site Survey & Analysis
Whether you’re looking for The Design Blueprint (hard landscaping or planting only) or The Signature Design (the full package), the process begins with a site survey. I’ll measure and photograph your garden to create a scaled plan as the foundation for all design work. For larger or more complex sites, I may recommend a Professional Surveyor for a full topographical survey.
Site Surveys from £300

Building & Planting
I work with highly skilled landscape contractors to bring the design to reality. If selecting a contractor feels daunting, I can help gather quotes from trusted professionals.
For the plants, I source the best plants from local nurseries and personally oversee planting with my team.
