Beautiful Border

Inspired by the beloved children's classic 'Where the Wild Things Are' by Maurice Sendak, this Beautiful Border brings the magic of this story to life.

Drawing on memories from my own childhood and those of my children, I used large, jungle-inspired foliage to evoke the untamed world where the Wild Things roam.

The plants encircle a cosy, secluded patio—a perfect spot to relax and read, just like Max in his adventure.

Tucked away in this wild retreat is a tiny, hidden pond, adding a touch of biodiversity. A miniature origami boat floats on its surface, a nod to Max's journey across the sea.

This design transforms a simple garden into a whimsical escape, where imagination takes root.
